Only 22 red wagyu/akaushi were ever exported from Japan. It is estimated that 90%+ of all red wagyu/akaushi genetics today outside Japan descend from the original 18 animals imported by Al and Marie Woods in 1994. This donor is a direct daughter of 30E Homare who was produced by 2 of the 4 remaining imports that came in outside the Al and Marie Woods shipment.
